Mana is a Japanese Tokyo based community, radio show and event series that seeks to create an open space for all, by linking up with both OGs and local artists around the globe.
My collaboration with Mana grew from a shared sensibility around sound and visual storytelling. Through my participation in the community, I became involved in the artwork and the audiovisual design for the communication of the events — shaping the visual identity that accompanies Mana’s sonic and performative landscape.
I developed visual materials for social media and event announcements, translating the curatorial spirit of Mana into imagery that reflects its hybrid nature: between music and art, between ritual and collective experimentation.
As part of the collaborator of two of Mana’s events, my work sought to amplify the dialogue between sound and image, crafting a visual atmosphere that resonates with the emotional and aesthetic complexity of the project.
This collaboration became a space of exchange — where design acts as a bridge between disciplines, and where the visual language extends the openness and fluidity that define Mana’s identity.
